The Burden of Word Explosion Convention

Rev. Koye-Ladele laid out with characteristic passion and clarity ten dimensions of what the Word Explosion Convention meant to him and to Victorious Christian Life Ministries. He drew on vivid scriptural imagery, including the rich young ruler's self-examination, the stirring waters of Bethesda, and Peter's awe on the Mount of Transfiguration, to paint a picture of a gathering where God Himself would show up to locate, confront, heal, and transform His people. With warmth and fatherly authority, he reminded the congregation that ministry belongs to every Spirit-filled believer, not only to pastors, and called for open sharing of what the Holy Spirit was speaking. His appeal to bring seven people, to provide transport fare for the poor, and to ensure no one had an excuse to stay away reflected the generosity and inclusivity that marked his decades of ministry.
